The Details

It’s remarkable how long the “little things” take. It’s been a couple of weeks since Keith finished up and we’re slowly chipping away at the detail work that we saved for ourselves. Tiling the backsplash — the last big project — is finally done. We still need to grout it, but thanks to a full day’s help from Mica, we got it all mortared to the wall yesterday.

I had to tear out our brand new box in order to extend it flush with the tile.
